The Democrapublican & the New Candidate Creationism

Water Runs UphillA liberal is a person who believes that water can be made to run uphill. A conservative is someone who believes everybody should pay for his water. I’m somewhere in between: I believe water should be free, but that water flows downhill.” –Theodore White

If Donald Trump is a student of history and secretly a reader of political prose or perhaps even biography, he may not so secretly be channeling his campaign along a path akin to John F. Kennedy. Following this theory should initially draw scorn from serious students of politics, but consider the 1960 race from the standpoint of the one writer who had the ring-side seat and proved accurate over time, Theodore White, author of numerous The Making of President volumes.

JFK-Marilyn MonroeAlso consider the “Playboy” image of JFK for his time versus how it later was proven versus the Trump established history versus all the allegations in play. These theories alone give pause to consider the possibility that Trump may even be playing the Kennedy images far better than even his toughest critics consider causing him.

In 1956 Theodore White was a struggling writer for Collier’s, and was on the campaign trail following Estes Kefauver through the early primaries. In these days, the  Read more

Committed Beats Mob (Most Times)

Helen Keller-Group Powerby Marion Marks

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” — Margaret Mead

Organization is the heart of most modern political movements, but the frenetic and frantic folly of the Republican fiasco today requires a focus on the fragile fragments that fear has fostered. Alliteration may become the toy that allows sane citizens to survive the 2016 campaign season that will soon be in full two-party fight mode.

Shattered Political Parties
Shattered Parties?

The lead up to the two party conventions, however, are taking decidedly different paths. The Democrats are struggling over the role Bernie and his motivated followers will play in Philadelphia as far as planks and speakers in the home of American’s founders. Most of the discourse is of elevated and cerebral material designed to challenge the better minds within the Democratic organization. Truly there are issues that require shaking up the organizational chart, because there is “dead wood” that Read more

Hurtful Words – The Donald Trump Vocabulary of Winning

Helps or Hurts-the gameby Marion Marks

Basic children’s primary educational principles, things like the Golden Rule, should be the guiding light in politics as they are in life. A simple children’s game “Hurts or Helps” was obviously never a part of Donald Trump’s educational regimen at any time during his career. This simple game provides clear measures for helpful as well as hurtful statements. It should be rather easy to understand the power of such, Hurtful Statements: Your shoes are goofy. Your hair looks like a mop. You’ll never pass that test. You are a loser. You are pretty… pretty boring!” These quite obviously were a major part of how Donald J. Trump was expected to address those he intended to “take down a notch.”

Donald J. Trump, the TV mogul or politician, never seems to be able to string together a lengthy series of “helpful” words about those in his business or work life. Helpful Statements would be things a child might say to encourage a friend, “I’ll help you with your homework. Come to church with me. I’m glad to have you as a friend. Would you like to play with me and my friends? You’re very talented.” Such words, taught by parents, teachers or those who play an Read more

Donald J. Trump – the Slick Voodoo Hate Monger

Donald-Trump-Holds-Campaign-incitingby Marion Marks

Donald J. Trump continues to play the role of the authoritarian dictator demanding obedience rather than the ideologue who may lose the debate as he loudly demands that the public understand the complex principles of his argument. Trump is certainly no Barry Goldwater or George McGovern, whose complex principles drew crowds but lost voters who were unable to follow their logic to a winning conclusion.

trump-ohio-riotTrump is a slickly packaged ball of molten hate, a modern marketing technological time bomb morphing from reality TV and Home Shopping Network, breeding with extremes of greed who picks up allies from the uneducated who fail to fathom unsupportable economic theories. Trump is a slick voodoo hate monger who will destroy the Republican party.

This new glowing star of the Republican party is basically contriving a voodoo platform based on flat taxes and sales tax-type Read more
