“A well-developed sense of humor is the pole that adds balance to your steps as you walk the tightrope of life.” ~William Arthur Ward
Mayor Glover certainly has a positive self-image, while at the same time he has developed and expanded his arrogant tendencies. We can’t think of a way that arrogance has helped him or any other public official improve a difficult predicament or gain support in the larger community. The wall he seems to have run into with the dog park has only enhanced his arrogant tendencies and his abject failure to see himself as others perceive him in meetings, in the city council or in the courtroom.
Someday he will better appreciate the tightrope of life and utilize his humor that allowed him to walk, balance life and juggle the seemingly difficult responsibilities he chose to accept. However, our reflection is that today all we see is a shadow of an arrogant and angry man, racing toward a pitiful legacy.
