Since last Friday, I have been attempting to frame some of the issues with respect to Bobby Jindal’s proposed tax swap. State Treasury John Kennedy has saved me a lot of work by doing an excellent job of listing the issues.
The questions raised by Kennedy should not only be a part the legislative debate on Jindal’s proposal, but should be a part of a very public debate. We all have a lot at stake when it comes to taxes and tax reform.
For those who are interested in the matter (all Louisiana citizens should be) see Kennedy’s report here.
Kudos to Kennedy for his efforts.
