When the poverty rate increases from 18.7% to 20.4% of the population you better start watching which side of the 20.4% line you live. Hearing Mitt Romney discuss the 47% we consider where we fall in terms of relying on public benefits to “get by.” However, there are many more than the 20.4% who rely on the public services just to be in the 47%.
